BAHAN I:100 gr gula pasir
100 gr gula jawa, serut
150 ml air kelapa (bisa diganti dengan air soda/sprite/7up)
BAHAN II:
200 gr tepung beras
200 gr tepung terigu
200 gr gula pasir
300 ml santan
1/2 sendok makan ragi instan
1 sendok teh baking powder
CARA MEMBUAT:
1. Panaskan gula pasir dan gula jawa dalam wajan hingga kecokelatan. Kecilkan api lalu masukkan air kelapa. Aduk hingga gula larut lalu saring. Biarkan dingin.
2. Campur tepung beras, ragi dan gula hingga rata. Tuangkan cairan karamel sedikit demi sedikit. Tambahkan santan, aduk hingga kalis.
3. Masukkan tepung terigu sambil diuleni dan dipukul-pukul 15 menit. Tambahkan baking powder. Aduk kembali.
4. Diamkan minimal 1 jam.
5. Tuang ke dalam cetakan. Steam selama 45 menit.
TIPS:
1. Cairan karamel harus benar-benar dingin sebelum dituangkan dalam tepung, agar kue dapat mengembang.
2. Pastikan air kukusan sudah mendidih. Cetakan kue mangkok sebaiknya ikut dipanaskan +/- 10 menit sebelum adonan dituangkan.
3. Bila perlu alasi tutup kukusan dengan kain agar uap air tidak menetes ke adonan, jadi adonan dapat mulus.

No problem! I did the same "mistake" to someone else's inbox too :( I really love steaming, that's why we decided to buy oven with steam function. It's very very good! So have you tried the recipe already?

Even better.. My traditional steamer can only fit so many. Btw, that's so cool that you have "steaming" function in your oven? I don't think mine can do that, then I have to go back to traditional way :(

I use muffin tins because I bake the 'kue mangkok' in my oven (using steam function) I haven't tried baking 'kue mangkok' in regular steamer though :)
