Teloor respects the privacy of its members and users. The data collected from users and owners when registering on Teloor.com as members is kept strictly confidential. Data submitted to the Teloor.com website is collected, managed and retained by Teloor. This document specifies what data we collect and how Teloor will use this information. By using Teloor.com, you accept and agree to abide by these terms. If you do not accept them, you will not be permitted to use the site. These terms describe the manner in which Teloor collects, manages and uses the data that its members supply. This document is an integral part of the General Terms of Use. Unless stated otherwise, this document only deals with the use and communication of data collected by Teloor. The provisions do not apply to the use and communication of your personal data to third parties, whether they be owners or users, on our site or on others, to whom you may communicate these details to them.

2. Privacy and Data Collection
Teloor wishes to provide you with the best possible service. To this end, it is essential for us to gather a certain amount of personal data. You are welcome to browse pages from Teloor’s site without registering. Teloor stores data relative to your navigation habits and usage in order to compile statistics. This data (IP address, pages visited before and after navigating the Teloor website, or your web navigator) will be globally researched and analyzed by Teloor in an aggregated, non-personal format. On certain pages of the site, Teloor generates cookies in order to enable its members to navigate (for example, to avoid entering passwords repeatedly). Generally speaking, these cookies are small temporary files. They are stored on your hard disk and in most cases only remain for the duration of the session. You can prevent storing cookies using your browser settings, however this would prevent you from accessing all of our services.

3. Personal Data: Modification and Access
You have the right to access, modify and/or delete data about yourself. To exercise this right, go to your member’s area and modify your profile directly online, or contact us with any request to delete or change your account.

4. Use
The processing of personal data which we carry out is for the purpose of managing our services in putting users in contact with one another. Our priority is to facilitate the use and navigation of the Teloor website for all members. Furthermore, Teloor uses your personal information for commercial purposes, i.e. in order to inform you about our services, promotional offers, specifically tailored or otherwise, according to your interests, and the use and administration of the site. Thus, you also agree to receive this information, having first accepted Teloor’s General Terms of Use. Your personal data may be used to settle any litigation or problem, and to implement and ensure that our General Terms of Use are abided by.

5. Transfer and Divulgation
Teloor guarantees to never pass on or sell to any third parties personal information and/or coordinates which could be used to identify you personally. Notwithstanding, Teloor may be obliged to divulge personal data to legal authorities or other third parties, in accordance with a legal obligation. Regarding external service providers, Teloor uses the services of third party companies who are clearly identified on the site. Personal data processed by Teloor will only potentially be passed on, after ensuring that these third parties abide by this agreement. Regarding personal data which these external service providers collect themselves, this processing is subject to the law and possibly to their own terms concerning privacy protection.

6. Teloor Members
Teloor.com members are identified on the website pages by a pseudonym or alias. This moniker can be modified at any time in the member area. Their recipes, as well as ratings about themselves and their recipes are visible to visitors to the site, whether or not those visitors are members. This enables item searches, as well as contact between members and visitors. Similarly, certain personal information can be passed on to the user or owner in the course of certain activities, such as recipes voting or inclusion of personal website on individual profile pages. As clearly stipulated in the previously accepted General Terms of Use, personal data obtained by a member via Teloor can only be used for communications relating to your activity on Teloor.com and/or for any other usage to which the member concerned has expressly consented, after having been duly informed. In all instances, you must ensure other members the right of opposition, access and rectification of the information about them that you hold. Furthermore, you may not, unless otherwise stated in this paragraph, pass on other users’ personal data to third parties without our consent and that of the users concerned. The sending of unwanted messages from one member to another is strictly forbidden.

7. Password and Security
Any act carried out using your password and your e-mail address is entirely your own responsibility. Therefore, it is essential not to pass on these two pieces of information to a third party, because you will thus lose control of your data, and could be held liable for the obligations contracted in your name. If you receive an e-mail asking you to update information such as passwords, or alias, do not reply, and contact us via the ticket system in the Contact Us section. If your password has been communicated to a third party, you should immediately change it via your member login area. Teloor does its utmost to make communications and data storage secure in order to protect the confidentiality of your personal information against loss and interception by third parties. However, it is important to know that there is no such thing as zero-risk against loss or interception by a third party of your personal data.

8. Notification and Modification
We reserve the right to modify this agreement according to your feedback and to change regulations which we implement for the collection and divulging of data.
